It was an earnest desire of the members of the Bunts Sangha to provide quality education to the youth of this mega city. They passionately tried to realize this ideal and erected an edifice of 'temple of learning' where now stand 'Anna Leela College of Commerce & Economics, 'Shobha Jayaram Shetty College for BMS', 'Arathi Shashikiran Shetty College for Information Technology', 'Barkur Dharmaraj Shetty College for Mass Media' & 'Ramanath Payyade College of Hospitality Management Studies'. These institutions will also provide education in modern sciences, and management too.

I do hope that these branches of knowledge will make the youth highly professional in their outlook and also develop them into very healthy and integrated personalities. The management ensures total commitment to quality education and best of the infrastructural facilities. I know this city needs to harness the potential of its youth and thus enabling them to contribute to the development of the nation. These institutions will have a key role to play in awakening a sense of commitment and help students community to form 'character' and a 'secular' outlook.

As chairman of the Higher Education Committee, I look forward to serve the campus community as we go forward.
